I get asked a lot what’s the difference between a patio clean or a  patio restoration !

Many patios are cleaned by the general public using low pressure machines which in turn the patio they have cleaned looks ok for a short time then they  suddenly notice the clean is not as superior as a professional pressure washer  companies and over time black spot and lichen tends to appear in greater numbers 

Pressure washing alone will not remove Black Spot and Lichen …

So how are these dealt with dependant on the stone being cleaned  either steam ,cold low pressure and a mix of trade chemicals using this method also it avoids blasting the pointing out of the joints (obviously dependant on the condition of the pointing)
